Treasurerís report: In lieu of the Treasurerís report, it was announced that Ryan Snyder has left to join the Air Force. Zach has materials that Ryan left with him. He was asked him to get them to Ed Wood or Al Braun as soon as possible.

Received one dues check from Clarence Seagraves AA5RH. A bill for $47.97 was presented for a telescoping mast bought from Lowes; motion to pay it was made by Jon Spargo, seconded by Dave Finley.

Committee reports:

Have not given up on hope of getting a NOAA weather radio transmitter on M Mountain; a supplemental Homeland Security grant is one possibility, and other avenues were mentioned.

Receiver for the Police dispatch center -- needs an antenna, have designed an 11-element Yagi, but need a way to calculate the T-match. Jim Harrison has provided a 4-element 2-meter Yagi, which didnít work at the weather radio frequencies near 162 MHz; Glenn will try to work with it to adapt it. Need to get this done quickly.

Report from the Mock EMS exercise planning meeting in February: the location for the exercise was chosen because communications from that area are particularly bad. At this meeting it was apparent that many people were confused as to the role of the LEPC, versus ARES; Spargo explained at length.. Spargo also described the ARES trailer and its function. We will demonstrate trailer, and set it up an hour before the exercise (which is to begin at 10 AM on April 21 at the west end of Magdalena, on US 60, by the junctions with routes 107 and 169.

On the Trailer itself - Glenn Mauger has the beginnings of antenna mast mounts, for all four corners plus a hinged telescoping mast on the back, for a total of 5 masts. He also has materials to build several J-poles. The frame for the solar panels is partially done, the rest of the material is on hand.

Glenn Mauger has spent about $200 on materials; Jon Spargo moved that he be reimbursed, seconded by Kalman Oravecz, motion passed.
