Report on Incorporation: Missing one piece and then the paperwork will be all done for the 501c3.

ARES/LEPC

Jon Spargo was not present; LEPC update given by Bear Albrecht: There will soon be a web site on the new county server for "groupware", working on the various documents, whereby one can "check out" a document, edit it, and then check it back in. This can be done with any browser and word processor though it works particularly smoothly with Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer. Word has been installed on the LEPC computer. Also a major upgrade to the database program is on the way.

Bill Brundage reported that the proposed installation of a weather radio in the dispatch center had been approved by the police chief, the radio had been acquired, and an antenna was being built.

Bill Brundage reported that the trailer has a telescoping mast and a copper J-pole antenna, and that the batteries and chargers had been installed and hooked up to the "Rig Runner" panels.

There has been a telescoping mast offered for sale at Lowe's, and Dave Johnson made a motion that $45 be allocated to buy one. The motion was seconded and passed.

Web Site: Ryan Snyder reported that he has had to move the web site to server space that he pays for ($60 for two years). This change is completely transparent - viewing the web site does not give any clue that anything has changed. This server also has "listserv" capability; he will find out more about that later.

New Business: Kalman Oravecz reported that April 29-30 has been designated for nationwide VE testing, and that he expects to have a VE session on the afternoon of the 29th at Tech.

Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM.
